Black Arch Holsters

I’d still consider myself newer to the 2A community. I’ve learned the big lessons that concealed carry is a life style, that comfort should not be the priority, and dress to your holster/firearm. Obviously if comfort is available it’s appreciated. I also do my best to research as much as possible—I don’t have the budget of the YouTubers that have “gone through dozens” before finding the right one. My first holster several years ago was the crossbreed reckoning hybrid. As comfortable as advertised, but within days the leather collapsed out and retention was compromised. This happened in a very sobering way where I was dancing around with my 3 year old daughter and my gun came flying out. It was pretty easy to swear off leather and sacrifice the degree of comfort after that. Black Arch has the answer with their protos system. Using at 4-5 o'clock as that’s best for my body type (I’m a little guy 😂, unless it’s a pocket pistol, appendix just doesn’t work), completely comfortable. And I can say I completely trust the retention as well—tested with running around the yard and playing soccer.

Thank you Black Arch for not compromising safety but striving for comfort as well! I’ll never go anywhere else for a holster unless I’m looking for some kind of level 2/3 duty holster for full size (though if y’all ever offer something like that, you’d be the first place I turn!)

I tried a few other companies, but the retention and comfort were unmatched with the black arch. Very happy, and will likely buy again. My only complaint was that shipping was a bit slow, but that could have been due to the carrier.

Title says it all. I’ve tried a ton of holsters over the years and usually just settled for something “good enough” but never truly comfortable. This one changed that.
First off, I highly recommend upgrading to the metal clip — it’s absolutely worth it. Shipping was super quick, and right out of the package the quality stood out. The fit is spot on, the adjustable retention is flawless, the leather is top-notch, and the mesh backing makes it surprisingly comfortable and breathable for all-day wear.
The only downside is that there’s no claw available for this model, but that’s minor. I’ve got one laying around and will probably rig something up myself.
Overall, extremely impressed. Definitely a step above the rest.

Entrada™ IWB for Sig Sauer P365/XL

Most comfortable holster ive had. Wearing at 3-4 o'clock IWB. My only critique is the grip pokes out a little without a concealment claw. Wish that was an option. I switched from a 17 round to a short 10 round grip module to help.
Very happy with the overall holster and fitment. I was prioritizing comfort for an every day carry and this does it. I wear it all day every day and forget it's there. I bought a safariland incog-x originally and was very disappointed in the fitment. The retention was much better and it printed a lot less but was unbearably uncomfortable. This is a hybrid holster with a leather backer so its not a smooth draw like a full kydex holster, but its not bad.
If the next model has a claw option I would definitely buy that. Best backer ive found. Love the modularity concept. I got the single clip backer as well to try but I really like the 2 clip. Customer service was great.
10/10 would buy again.

I normally carry AIWB, but certain times I need to be able to carry strong side. I did a tone of research and landed on the Protoss. My expectations were exceeded. The fit and finish and quality of the materials may be the best of any holster I own, and this come from someone who owns and uses holsters from many other reputable brands. The addition of the DCC Mod 4 clips makes for a very stable platform. Have already recommended this holster to several friends.

I don't EDC daily yet but this holster is very comfortable and seats my MC9 Prime perfectly IWB. I currently run it for IDPA and USPSA Hit Factor matched and have had zero issues with retention or sagging or anything at all! Love this holster.

Perfect fit but most importantly, very comfortable. I work a desk job and previous holsters got really uncomfortable after a while.

I ordered the Glock 48MOS version to support my ramjet upgrade. It came in the holster of the month in the white topo and it is an extremely comfortable holster, unread other reviews where people say they forgot they were wearing it and I was skeptical but they were right. Comfort is fantastic but like many others I think the DCC mod 4 clips are a requirement, I feel like it's much more secure with the new clips compared to the original.

Bought it for a new 365xl. It feels well built and sturdy, much lighter than they look and MUCH less bulky than they look in photos and than I was expecting. The draw feels smooth and the adjustments are easy.

Excellent quality holster. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase it exceeded my expectations. I had an issue with shipping and customer service was quick to respond and foxed my problem quickly and was kind. 5/5 Stars
